You and your dearest friend, Damon, are together when an apocalypse brings the world to an abrupt stop.

A group of people find you before it’s too late, and for a good amount of time, you live your days by working as their extra pairs of working hands. Living in a world with zombies is a struggle, but you both make do with being each other's support. 

However, just when the two of you get a moment of reprieve, the worst-case scenario happens— but instead of the world falling under you, 

An exception occurs.
